Basic tee sewing pattern

Short sleeves, opens at the back. Drafted to your doll’s size and printed on woven cotton (it doesn’t stretch), so you cut it out and sew it with no paper pattern.

How to sew it

Printed along the bottom of your panel:

Cut out the neck hole and the back opening (both close solid lines). Turn the neckline under and stitch or glue it. While flat, hem the back edges, sleeve ends and bottom.
Fold at the shoulders, right sides together. Sew each underarm and side seam in one pass, matching notches.
Clip the underarm curves and turn right side out. Mark the back overlap on the doll, take the tee off, then sew on hook-and-loop tape.

18-inch doll: tee 9 ½ × 11 ¾″. Prints on a fat quarter panel ($32.00).
16-inch doll: tee 8 × 10 ⅞″. Prints on a fat quarter panel ($32.00).
14½-inch doll: tee 6 ⅛ × 9 ¼″. Prints on a fat quarter panel ($32.00).
14-inch doll: tee 5 ⅞ × 8 ⅞″. Prints on a fat quarter panel ($32.00).
